Upcoming phones of 2014

LG G Flex

Update: the LG G Flex was revealed on Monday 28th October. It features a  6-inch screen which is curved vertically, as well as a 2.26GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2.2 and a 13-megapixel camera. the device also rear-button as we've seen on the LG G2.
We’ve seen Samsung release the Galaxy Round (imaginatively named, I know), which features a curved screen. However, LG has revealed that its own curved screen smartphone will be launched next year, called the LG G Flex.
Rather confusingly, the G Flex won’t have a flexible screen, but various mock ups of the device suggests that-apart from a curved screen- the smartphone will have a 6-inch display and a 13MP camera.
We could well see the G Flex surface before the New Year, but whether it will hit the UK market is yet to be seen…
Samsung Galaxy S5
As we’ve seen over the past few years, Samsung is expected to make a splash at the premium end of the market yet again this year with a selection of two, or perhaps three new devices. One smartphone that’s a given for 2014 is the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Although the Galaxy S4 offered nothing new in the way of design or innovation, it did come jam packed full of new features aimed at making the device stand out in a saturated market.

We saw the Samsung Galaxy S4 hit our shelves back in March this year, winning swarms of shaky iPhone fans over to Android in one fell swoop.

So what are the rumoured specs for the Samsung Galaxy S5?

> 16MP camera- an upgrade to the current 13 megapixels on the S4’s rear-facing lens
> The same plastic casing as the S4, with the faux leather ‘stitched’ effect like the Note 3
> Android 4.4 Kit Kat
> 2.3GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM (like we’ve seen in the Note 3)
